How proud am I to be a Mumbaiite today? Every Mumbaiite should answer this question? The question has become much more relevant today due to the increasing problems which are being faced by the ordinary citizens of this metro city. The most dreaded problem is lack of proper planning required for handling such a huge floating population.
Almost 6 million people transverse through the length and breadth of the city in 1 day in trains. And see the pathetic condiitons of railways where a person is thrown out of train by a bunch of jokers.
Another person is hit by a train and there is nobody to help him rush to the hospital. And eventually he dies in a city hospital. And who is to be blamed for this. We Mumbaiites who remain indifferent to all these things or the government authorities who are lax ineffiecient and bla bla bla. Mumbai needs proper attention and organiztion or else the problem will accentuate and city will cripple to death. Please give it a thought.
