Mubarakan can be basically considered as one of luminous family entertainer. The movie was really entertaining espuecially the jodi of real life Uncle-Nephew to reuel Uncle-Nephew. Both Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor flaunt their performance with high excellence. I was quite excited for this movie due ti certain reasons such as-
Director Anees Bazmee
Duo of Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor
The genre of the movie itself
Bright sets and backdrop which is mostly seen in an Anees Bazmee entertainer.
PLOT - The movie kicks off with a couple travelling in a car to somewhere with their twin sons. Somehow unfortunately the car crashes off resulting to the death of the couple while leaving the twins alive. Now as the only caretaker of the twins is the their paternal uncle Kartar Single( Anil kapoor) who is bachelor and wants to be a bachelor for his entire life. Kartar Singh quickly experiences that to handle twins was not his cup of tea, so he decides to handover one kid Karan to his elder sister Jeeto( Ratna Pathak) who lives in London while the other one Charan to his elder brother Baldev Singh( Pavan Malhotra) who is settled in Punjab.
After the passage of a long time, the kids grow up and reflect totally opposite personalities. The story twists when both of the kids' wedding are decided. A whole lot of confusion is created with punches of laughter. For further story, I insist to watch this movie.
DIRECTION - Anees Bazmee once again proves himself as one of the hit-makers of the industry. If we have a look on his filmography, he has always delivered one of the fine family entertainers. Welcome, Partner, Ready, Welcome Back, Hera Pheri and many more are considered as the refined family entertainers. Bright sets, fine backdrop are the jewels of this movie. As a director, he an be considered as the expert of masala movies.
PERFORMANCE - Anil kapoor can be called as the scene-stealer of this movie because at this phase of his film career, he depicts a high voltage and energized performance. Arjun Kapoor plays his double role with quite brilliance. Ileana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty portray their respected roles with excellence. While the supporting cast gives a winning performance, the credit is stealed by Anil Kapoor. In his signature dialogue, I can surely shout out Jhakkas.!
SOUNDTRACK - The background score and songs are up to the mark. Songs are the quite good, especially the new version of old song Hawa Hawa. Soundtrack can be rated as fairly good to impress the audice.
MY OPINION - According to me, the movie must be watch in cinema for atleast once. It is a light hearted family enterainer which imparts joy and laughter.
THANK YOU
