About MTNL:
Mumbai MTNL( Mahanagar telephone nigam limited) is an internet service provider( ISP network) who is providing internet services to customers.
My personal experience:
There are many ISP network providers available but in my locality only MTNL ISP was available so I decided to reeadily use the services of MTNL as it is a popular government association.
I took plan of rs 650 per month unlimited combo pack three months ago. They took rs. 600 for modem( wifi router)+ rs. 300 installation charge+ rs. 500 for wiring charges as initial charges which are applicable to all ISP Network.
In the first month they charged me around rs. 850 which was postpaid. When I gone through my bill rs 650 was for my monthly pack+ rs. 150 tax and rs 50 for modem maintaince. I was shocked but still I was forced to use it because no other ISP was available.
My plan was 1.5 Mbps from 7 pm to 7 am and 1 Mbps from 7 am to 7 pm from which the speed I recieved was around 50 Kbps.
After a month, after every two days a was facing problems since internet was not working. When I contacted up to my nearby office they told that servers are down are you will face problems.
A month passed and still same problem, I was fed up and really disappointed. I immeadiately removed MTNL Broadband from my home and decided not to use it again.
