Mrs & Mr Sharma Allahabad Wale is a new TV serial launched during May 2010 on Sab Tv. It is based on a celebration of the comic spirit and journey of a small town with the struggle of a middle class family. The serial is aired every Monday to Thursday at 9:30 PM in India.The story is based on mainly two characters – Mr. Sharma and Mrs. Sharma. They belong to Allahabad. So, the serial name is based on the name of the both characters. The serial tells a story of the struggle of day to day incidents that comes in the life of a middle class family. Comic dialogues and journey of a small town lead to the humorous incidents in the show. The serial has tried to show the realty of a small family’s life in a big city.

Rajesh Kumar has played the character of Mr. Dristhdumn Sarveshwar Sharma. He is a 35 year old married person ingrained with all the values of a true Indian. He gets happiest than ever when he hears about his transfer from Allahabad to Mumbai. But he doesn’t know about the real taste of the dream city

Divyanka Tripathi has played the character of Mrs. Rashmi Sharma. She is a perfect housewife. She loves cooking for her husband. Mrs. Sharma feels her husband is the smartest in the world. Mrs. Rashmi Sharma is a typical housewife. She has never seen a big city. She has blind faith in her husband.

There are 2 more characters Daboo, their son and the unmarried sister of Mr. Sharma is Ragini Sharma.

Dialogues of Mrs & Mr Sharma Allahabad Wale are really fantastic. Divyanka's acting is extremely commendable as an extremely dumb wife admiring her husband. We come across similar characters in our day to day life too. Whenever I watch the serial it reminds of my next door neighbour lady who also hails from a small town incidentally and behaves exactly like Mrs. Sharma. Her IQ level is so low that in the midst of any conversation she just hangs like how a computer does. Most of us experience difficulty in communicating with her but she is completely oblivious of this. I request the MS members to take this above example to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Mrs. Mr. Sharma Allahabad Wale has created a new era in the comic world and a good treat to our soul. Kudos to the entire team of the serial! Keep it up!
