Browser wars have come a long way along from IE 4.0 - Netscape 2.0 to IE 6.0 - Netscape 7.1.
Browser you can't avoid them and they sure have been a part of your daily lifes. When ever you log on to the net you do need them to do the browsing task.
It's hard to avoid them or let me say impossible to avoid them, and with so many to choose from you sure get in trouble.
I bet many user reading this review must be using Microsoft's Internet Explorer, ya why should't you use it, it comes along with Windows.
The same was the case with IE was my first choice, but then the KERNEL.DLL file always used to pass order's(I mean bug report) and I began my journey for searching for a new browser, one which could not give me errors and was easy to use.
I tried Opera for a while, but many features were missing and web page were not properly displayed, of course it was easy to use and same in small size, but then I said move on.
Netscape was not my choice at first, but then I digged in Netscape and found it to be build on Mozilla Engine.
So Welcome to the Mozilla World
Mozilla is a browser, a open source browser, a browser which comes in small size with great application and easy of use.
It is fast in it's loading time and has a email Client, Chat Application(IRC), Composer all bundled along in.
Download,Install, Run
You can download this browser from he site Mozilla.org
The size of this file is around 12MB which might take arouNd 2 - 3 hours for download, but installing a Download Manager would be a better option.
It's better than IE
OK, I agree Internet Explorer is the fastest loading browser(Read on Opera User's), but Internet Explorer lags every far behind when it comes to features.
Mozilla provides you with Tabbed Browsing,POP-UP Filters,Download Manager,A better access to Search Engine and there are 101 reasons why you should switch.
I switched to Mozilla, because of the 102 reason, no bugs.
Mozilla Mail
Internet Explorer comes with Outlook Express and Mozilla comes with Mozilla E-mail Client which contains the basic features of email client. You can set up mutiple accounts and hav them downloaded seperately based on Filters. But Mozilla Mail Client much more advanced features which Eudora and Incremail Xe provides.
The Downsides
Mozilla is a free browser..OK Agreed. It comes with a lots of features agreed but it sure contains it's downside.
1)Java Applet take a lot of time to download.
2)On lower machine, it takes some time to load in the System Tray
3)Does not integrate easily with the system,I mean when you say set as default browser does not take charge of the html files on the system.
4)Search Engine features lag in the versions.
5)Source editing sure proves to be a trouble.
Go on try it
All those with need a change from the IE world and are searching for a new browser Mozilla may be your stop for the search or let me say make it a stop for the change.Try this browser it sure is a great work and best of all you can dress it up with New themes.
