No doubt Mouthshut is a good site but it seems it is populated by all types of jocular characters. People here do all kind of silly things. Let me make some general observations before going on specifics. First of all, people here think not telling their education is fashionable. Somewhere, you will find ?do I need to tell it?, at other place you will find, ?I am not anpad?, and yet another you will find, ?Pada hota to yahan hota?. I am amazed.
You don?t have any problem in telling gory details about you but when it comes to education, no ways. Then people are so very artificial. This I am writing from the kind of comments, I have been getting, and not getting. When I wrote on a stupid topic like ?Five Best Reviewers on Mouthshut?, and tried making some sense out of it, people pour me with all kind of comments, but just don?t like my review.
And, when I talk on a sensible topic like Eroticism, they rate it high, but just don?t write comments, and those who write are also idiots. I have till now received four comments on my second review, out of which one says I am a pervert, the other two say they like my advice but they won?t go to the website, they have no time. And the fourth one is a genuine kid, so I don?t blame him. And, somehow people also have fixation with banners, if you write under a wrong banner, you had it. Of all the comments I got in my first review, at least five comments are advising me on changing the banner, and also people give ratings as if they were doing some big ehsaan on me. Blokes it is like election voting, you vote for BJP or Congress, both are gonna suck your blood ultimately, so it really doesn?t matter.
Now let me come to the specifics. My first encounter on this site was with a kid. That kiddo sent me a chiding mail on rating him ?not useful?, then the next thing he put me in his distrust circle, and the way nasty I am, I also put him in my distrust circle and open him in the public. But then suddenly he reads one of my reviews, gives me a ?somewhat useful? rating, and put me in his trust circle. Probably, he also liked the girls I mentioned in the review. Well?.cool with me, at least kids like me for whatever innocent reasons of theirs. Well this kid is Jugger.
Then my second one sided encounter is with Mr. Whacko. I don?t understand what is his problem? He just doesn?t seem to use plain simple English. He puts a comment on my review which only he can understand, and same is the case with his profile. In his interest section, he writes about how he took his picture and that too in a completely incomprehensible manner. Arre bhaiya agar kuch likhna hi hai to apne interest ke bare mein likho, aur jo likha hai who bhi kisiko samajh nahi aata. This guy has not even resisted from teasing his pic, I don?t want kind of modern art painitng he wanted to develop it into.
The there is one eagle_eye (Mrs Medha Purandhare), she is a teacher, on and offline. Her obsession with teaching could not resist her from wishing best of luck to the wannabe doctors, engg etc. She starts with wishing good luck to all the people taking competitive exams. Then she gives doses of patriotism. And, then presents her stupidly compiled definitions, which only she seems to like. And, I don?t know what was the need for her to have put such a misguiding name, she could have easily written something like The teasher, Or a Moral Guide or some thing similar.
Miss Koolbaby, how can I forgot her, she was the one who actually introduced me to Mouthshut, and then I don?t know why just turned hostile to me. Thankfully people have given good enough treatment to her. But still, I think she did a good job of spoiling my first review.
Mr Suyog, this guy seems to be suffering from perennial gas (leakage) problem. Cmmn, if you know you have some problem then why put your pic for public viewing. Also, his comments are disgusting. In one of his comments somewhere, I saw him writing that he was fed up of newbees puking on Mouthshut. What a way to welcome people?
Mr iamaru, this guy is unbelievably stupid. This guy reads my second review, leaves a comment that the space was reserved for him to leave a comment and give the rating after visiting the website, then I don?t know what kind of change of mind he had, he goes to my first review, rate me not useful there, leaves a comment stating I my review was not useful, and will see if my second review is any good. Then he comes and modifies his comment on my second review, and writes I am a pervert, but, at the same time, rate my review, very useful. He is just enigmatically stupid. I have, without any doubt, put him on my distrust circle.
I never expected someone whom I chose as the best reviewer could be doing this, this is about Senorita. She changes her pic after I write about her being like a housewife, and, in her new avatar, carries a cigarette. This is one self conscious person. Obviously I have removed her from the review. Please suggest some good new names.
Then there are some generally fickle minded people on this website, who just can?t decide at once. Mr mouthshutdotcom tops this list. He rates me ?very useful? in the first review, and then suddenly has a change of mind and rates me ?somewhat useful?. I think he has some personal likings whom he didn?t find in the list. You can talk to me about this mouthshut, I will try my best to incorporate the changes.
Then there is one Mendi_pec, who, like myself, writes his first review on best five reviewers, but doesn?t write anything accept general chiding lessons, and address the people over here ?comrades?. He doesn't even mention five names. I am amazed! And, to my utter surprise, people rate him overall useful? Dear Mendi, you have a great future here, you will find some really interesting people like you on this site.
And there is also a general tendency among people to write reviews on movies before they actually get released. The other day I saw Mr. Asit Kaul?s stupid review on ?Main Hoo Naa?, and then I see another gentleman Nitin Neo writng a review on ?Main Hoon Naa?, once again without watching the movie. Once again to my utter surprise, I see 44% of people giving very useful rating to Mr Asit Kaul. By the way he has Miss Kareena Kapoor standing next to him in hic pic, and in absence of all other reasons, I see the august presence of Miss Kapoor to be the only deciding factor.
I feel as if I have come in a mental asylum; crowded by jerks, don?t know how I will survive. Any hints? Well?I think I have already puked (as Mr. Suyog says) a lot, now it?s your turn to puke in the comment section. But do keep smiling :)
