Good site for posting and reviewing products. Review on Mouthshut

Before I write a review about Mouthshut I would like to say that this review is solely based on my personal experience on this site. I have read a lot of negative reviews about the site not paying, deducting points, delay in payment, etc which is why I waited for a first payment to see how MS actually works and whether they really pay.

So MouthShut is a review platform where you can register for free and post or view reviews about a product online. You can write or view a review based on different categories like travel, online shopping, education, mobile, etc. Every review, comment and rating will lead to points. When you reach 500 points you can redeem it to cash which will be paid to your bank account once its verified. Payment is done on 1st and 16th of every month.

I joined MouthShut on the 4th of a month. By 10th I had over 500 points. As soon as I crossed 500 points an alert told me to update my bank details, submit my KYC forms and put your actual picture. Did all of them and wanted to see if they would pay on the 16th. When I did not receive any mail on 16th I sent the support team a mail. Received a mail the next day stating because of their WRITE-SHARE-WIN contest payment will a little delayed and be done in next cycle but my verification was complete. At the end of the month received a notification that they have sent payment to my account. Checked my bank account and yes they did pay. MouthShut does pay with a little bit of delay.

If your purpose is to just earn money I think this would not be the right place. I love writing and this place was perfect to put my thoughts out there.They have a lot of contests to encourage budding writers.
