Lets start with the motorola's hottest mobile, RAZR. No doubt, RAZR V3 is the most sleek set available in indian market. It looks pretty good and works well too. However, story never finishes with buying a mobile. Infact it starts from this point.
I am using this set for last 3 months. One problem I faced with this set is that it is slow. Lets say you dialled one number and then just thought of ending that call before it actually gets connected. This mobile takes eternity, it is slow in comparison to your fingers movement on its keys.
Other big pitfall is the service. Here, you can't beat Nokia. Motorola has very few service centres and the quality of the staff is not upto the mark. These service centres are managed very poorly. It happened with me recently that my handset got dysfunctional. I tried calling the motorola service centre but none of the phone was in working condition. One of the phone numbers was always busy. Later I found out that the staff was using that number for dial-up internet connection.
See the scenario, a big company publish a number on its website and mobile manual for users to call and their staff was using that number for dialling up the internet. No doubts, you will never be able to get anybody over the phone.
Then I thought of calling other cities service centres just to get some working number. Alas! I couldn't connect to calcutta, chennai and delhi numbers. At last, Mumbai service centre picked up my call. Such a huge relief !!!
So if you want to go for motorola mobile, keep it in your mind that this mobile is yours only till it is working without any problem. Don't waste your time after it becomes dysfunctional because of any reasons. Then simply throw this mobile and go for some Nokia product.
