There is no better product in the market right now. No Bullshit! It is not a Samsung Galaxy or an IPhone, it's the Moto X, it is leagues apart! Why am I so happy? Read the below -
1- Touchless control - Don't mistake it for being similar to Nexus 4 or 5, you don't have to touch the phone here to give it commands, the phone can be sitting in sleep mode in your pocket, but when you say - OK google Now, it comes alive and you can say out any command. Ask for information, look for directions, play songs, open applications, make calls, set alarms.
NOT HAVING TO TOUCH THE PHONE IS A BIG BIG ADVANTAGE!
you can use it while driving, travelling, while you are sitting lazily on your couch, it's like a personal assistant ever ready to help you, you just have to speak up. AND REMEMBER, MOTO X HAS A SEPARATE CORE FOR NLP, SO ITS VOICE RECOGNITION IS AMAZING, way better than Siri.
2- Active Display - Whenever you have a notification, just a small icon will appear without the backlight in the middle of the screen, if you touch it it will give you a snapshot of the notification, you drag the icon to the snapshot and you can see the whole thing OR just leave it and your phone goes back to sleep mode. It is so useful in situations like meeting, partying, dating, you just don't have to unlock your phone to see what's going on. You realize how useful this feature is when you actually use it.
3- Motorola Assist (an extension of touchless controls) - It has multiple types, the most useful is "Driving". When you're driving, MotoX realizes that and switches to driving mode (automatically). Now if I receive a call, it tells me who's calling and I can simply say 'answer' to pickup the call. It can also read out text messages if I recieve a text message and I say 'Listen'. It can also play songs from the last played when you last drove. This is supremely cool. Now combine this touchless controls feature and you can make calls, play songs, ask for directions, look for nearby restaurants. All without touching your phone!
4- Open Camera With A Twist Of Wrist - There are many devices which offer some hand gesture feature these days, I don't know about them coz I haven't used all of them, but I can tell you the camera hand twist feature of Moto X is very cool. In any situation, my camera has been the first to open and capture pics. You just twist the wrist and camera opens up, all the Nokia Lumia's and Sony Xperia's and Google Nexus kind of lag here. Not kidding!
5- Camera - I was on a trip recently and on so many sites I read that Moto X's camera is good but not special. But I was surprised to see the picture quality of my photos. The most striking were the richness of colours, the photos looked so vibrant, this came as a surprise to me since I wasn't expecting this. And how did I realize photo quality is great, I saw same photos my friend's phones, the Lumias and Xperias i'm talking about here. The photo quality in those phones was clearly relatively poor(not that they were poor, but they lacked "life"). Moto X became camera of the trip, again Not Bullshitting!
6- Battery life - Full charge 24 hours - decent
7- It has 8 cores for different features.
8-Performance is very good, great that motorola didn't get into spec war and so quietly showed how a phone can perform smoothly with less specs. WHEN YOU SEE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PHONE AND ITS SPECIFICATIONS, YOU REALIZE HOW INANE THE SPECS WAR OF SAMSUNG AND IPHONE IS. They jack up the price by 10000s only on basis of specs which promises better performance, and which perform better too, but so does the Moto X and they are not even talking about it.
9 - There are a lot of other small features that make you happy,
Its very comfortable to hold, i'm using a special Moto X cover and that too is very cool.
Motorola Spotlight is just delightful and awe-inspiring.

It has 4G capability and lots more.
ALL THIS FOR 24000/- ONLY. If Google had to go the Apple or Samsung way, they could have very easily priced it around 40000/- and then people would have bought calling it an "aspirational phone" and a "phone of the future". Phone of the future is definitely is, but they made it accessible to everyone with that price, I'm so glad they instilled some sanity in this smartphone pricing war.
My recommendation -Don't go for any other phone, no IPhone 6, No Galaxy 5, No Elife E5, no HTC.none of those phones can give you an experience close to this and they will drill a huge hole in your pocket. Unless you just want an Iphone for its aspirational value, then by all means go for it, but if you want to be ahead of others buy this one.
