Android is the Operating system which majority of new smartphone buyers go for. I was also not an exception!

After I lost my Symbian Nokia E5 recently, I had set my mind for new Touch Android Smartphone.

Price was issue for me as after losing my previous mobile, I did not want to invest more than 7-8 thousand rupees on it.

I wanted only **reputed companies like the Sony Experia, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung etc. The market was going for the Kit Kat version of Android. Also preferred minimum dual core processor and 1 GB RAM.

Unfortunately, the more was I trying to explore the things, more confusion erupted. I even tried OLX for used smartphone and had final talks for Sony Ericsson Experia M dual SIM. The guy told me to wait for two days as he was outstation.

Meanwhile the Flipcart launched Moto e online with extraordinary specification for Rs 6999 only. Without second thought I booked one as `Cash on Delivery`.

But, do not know why within one hour of booking I cancelled it thinking that I should have waited for the user reviews! Flipcart was `thankful` to me!

After two days I did not receive my used Sony ericsson Experia and I re-decided to book moto e after seeing many Youtube video reviews on Moto E.

However to my unpleasant surprise, I came to know that it was out of stock. In news I heard that Flipcart was out of stock in 16 hours!

I needed a good smartphone.

I went for OLX again and saw an advertisement for Moto E, brand new for additional Rs 500! I went to the shop 15 Km away and reached in minimum time. He had the last piece left. While I was paying for it, one more man reached there for the same set! How lucky I was! The mobile, while writing to you is still `out of stock`

THE BEAST OF PERFORMANCE IS HERE!

LOOK & FEEL

Easy to hold, though little heavier than any smartphone but look is elegant. The screen is more than 4` and its scratch and a bit water resistant.

PERFORMANCE

Booting is a bit slow but it was interesting to see the whole booting process first time! It`s being Google owned company, started asking for Google mail based initial registration. It was nice to see that the set did not need any mobile setting from the operator for the GPRS. Both the 3 G SIM got configured automatically without my active intervention.

Pre installed apps were ninety percent useful ones and for the rest of your requirements `Play Store was there! Will you believe me when I say that Play store downloaded the 60 MB Game file in less than one minute!

I downloaded some 400 MB games(for my daughter, Punya) in no time. Nice to observe that there was no heat ups at the battery side!

Performance for Youtube was very satisfying with HD videos with exceptional sound clarity. Even the provided Headphone is good.

Google Voice Search function was a delight to use with voice command.

The screen manuvouring was like butter smooth. It was very easy to exit any apps.

Battery back up is 24 hours minimum with a lot of 3G use including the YOUTUBE.

The 5 MP Camera has a unique function of taking stills while on HDR Video record. Absence of flash is hardly felt on this smartphone.

Multitasking is a breeze too! I have tested more than 10 apps including games, youtube, navigation at a time and all apps performed as if they were the only apps being operated.

Cons probably for me only!

I am yet to accustom myself on it`s QWERTY virtual pad. It has though `smart type` too, which I am yet to learn as no you tube tutorial is available!

I strongly admire this set.

Go . catch online, if you can, which I missed and paid Rs 500 extra!
