I am a die hard fan of motorola ,since cellular services started in India I have been using cellphones of only this company.There is a strong reason for that & it is the fact that it is the oldest company in the field of wireless technology.I had earlier used C 113,traditional anteena cell phone,W209.Now I decided to upgrade and I zeroed in on this beauty ROKR EM30.It is jack of all trades,does every thing in an acceptable way in limited budget.Furthur one also gets all the certifications regarding the electromagnetic radiations,which is missing in made in china cellphones.Comming on to each aspect of this beautiful & stunning candybar phone I will try my best to give you as real view as possible.
Form:- Its a candybar phone ,i.e. it is in the shape of a cuboid.Fantastic looks & rugged feel to it when you hold it in your hand.
Built:- The material used is metal composite,weighing just 100 gms it has all the features.Keypad is neat and the one takes some time to get use to keypad press response.
Display:-Provided by TFT screen with resolution of 256K colors.
Camera:- Its has a 2 MP resolution without flash and one can record the video too.
Battery:-Standby is upto 300 hrs & talktime is upto 6 hrs.
Other features:-FM radio,Audio player,Bluetooth connectivity,SMS,MMS,WAP,GPRS,EDGE,USB connectivity,Expandable memory slot,Inbuilt games.
What box contains:-Handset,Battery,Driver CD,Manual,Warranty card,Charger,Headphones,Motomusic Website coupon.
Features which I desire should be there in next edition:-Infrared port,3G Connectivity,GPS,Good quality bluetooth earphones,5 MP camera,16 GB memory,touchscreen.
In the end I would like to conclude that the company should pay some more attention to the bundled headphones as they don't do justice to the cellphone which has a remarkable ability to produce sound,which only a music player can do.I am using philips headphones with gold plated connector pin.
I am eagerly waiting for the next generation of the motorokr series of cellphones.Wana be the first to try & rock.Thanks
