ME personally have used this phone for 7 months now. I brought this phone last feb. Now I am planning to change the mobile, not because it has probs but because I need a triband phone.
Motorola E365 is my 3rd or 4th mobile. So when I took my mobile I was too keen on getting a good one. Now this mobile has everything, mobility, camera ergonomics, looks, easiness everything.
Interface: Its easy. Very easy. The menu structure is simple and can be easily learned. Buttons are well placed. And there is a button on the side to activate and use the camera..The light on the keypad will not light up if there is enough light. This works with a small sensor on the phone bottom.The pack comes with data cable and Cd.
Body: very sleek and futurastic.Everyone wants a look.There are two colors available. One silver another golden. In my opinion the silver one is good.
Screen: Cooool!its got a TFT screen with 65000 colors. Now what more to ask for?
Ringtones: It has a 16 bit polyphonic. The rings are crisp and clear.Not too loud I may say. You can download more ringtones through the cable by uploading any midi files which is available in net for free.
Battery life: Nothing to scream about. It works for a maximum of two days under normal use.
Connectivity: Here the phone loses heavily. It has no bluethooth or infrared. Only data cable but it comes free with the pack.
Memory: The phone has 2mb memory. But it cannot be upgraded in future.
Phone book and SMS: the phone has 300 phone book capasity. It is possible to assign a picture to each entry, so that u can see the person calling u on the screen. The Sms ing is easy but after storing some 100 sms in memory the phone acts very sluguish and slow while opening inbox etc. And u can sent one sms to multiple person at one go.
Fun part: It is possible to upload cool pictures from ur computer to the mobile.And the games available (5 games) are very nice and addictive. But no games can be added extra as the phone dosent support java or sis.
cons:The gprs facility in the phone is not working properly. I am using an airtel account but even after trying many times the settings dont come ok. If any one of u know the right settings sent me. ok?
conclution: A very good phone with many features for the price of 10000Rs. But keep in mind the connectivity problems.
