Thank you, Dr. Geetha Nagarjuna ma'am.

Dr. Geetha Nagarjuna is nothing short of exceptional. In my experience, she is more than just a doctor—she is a beacon of care and compassion. Throughout my wife's pregnancy and delivery, her dedication and availability were unwavering. She invested significant time with each patient, addressing every concern with genuine attention. Under her supervision, My wife had a smooth delivery of my baby boy on 23rd September 2024. For this, I am incredibly grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a compassionate and attentive doctor.

However, my experience with Motherhood Hospital, Banashankari, was extremely frustrating.

The challenges began with the package, billing, and the overall disorganization of the process. Despite multiple interactions with customer care representatives, the information provided was inconsistent and misleading. I was told several times that the C-section package for an executive single room was priced at 1 lakh, and based on the website offerings, it included a free consultation and other benefits. I even have a screenshot of this.

However, when I visited the hospital, I had to pay for the consultations upfront, and no one at the hospital could explain why the advertised offerings weren't honored. Every staff member I spoke to gave me different answers, leaving me confused and frustrated. Even worse, when it was time for delivery, I was informed that I needed to have done pre-booking to avail of the package. This made me wonder what exactly I had booked through customer care. Despite my best efforts to clarify the details with hospital staff and the customer care team, I received conflicting information throughout my experience.

At the time of admission, I was charged a package of 1.12 lakh plus additional non-medical expenses, bringing the total around 1.89 lakh. Even Sindhu from the hospital had a call to customer care in front of me(I had proof as they were denying), and they confirmed the 1 lakh package, but the hospital still charged me the higher amount.

The level of miscommunication extended to the nurses as well. On the second day, I was told they needed my wife for a quick consultation, leaving me to look after our newborn. However, they took her for 45 minutes without any communication, and during that time, our baby was crying, hungry, and I couldn’t get any assistance despite ringing the bell multiple times.

On discharge day, the frustration continued. Although my discharge was scheduled for 10:30 AM, I was running between floors from 7 AM to 3 PM trying to resolve billing discrepancies. Every person I spoke with kept saying they'd get back to me in "two minutes, " but no one did until I followed up repeatedly. More than 40 times, I moved between the ground floor and the third floor. To make matters worse, they added extra charges for items already covered in the package, like NST and admission fees, which I had to argue to get removed. This made me seriously question the reliability of their billing system.

Even for Birth certificate process, form fill up etc, no one communicated and I had to follow up on the process.

In the end, after hours of frustration and no clear resolution from the management, I had no choice but to pay 1.12 lakh for the package plus the non-medical expenses.

In summary:

I highly recommend Dr. Geetha Nagarjuna for her outstanding care and dedication.

I do not recommend Motherhood Hospital, Banashankari, due to the severe mismanagement and frustrating experience with their billing and package processes.
