Herbal Strategi is a Bangalore-based company which provides herbal based products in the homecare segment from repellents, freshners, cleaners to pet care products. They have PeTA certification, i.e. their products are not tested on animals.
I was looking for a chemical free mosquito repellent due to allergies while using the commonly available brands like All-Out, Good-Night, Mortein, etc. I came across Mos Relief Herbal Mosquito Vaporizer at my local store. It was a 40 ml vial which costed Rs. 70. The label claimed that it would last for 40 days if used for 10 hours per day.
The composition is 100% herbal(a blend of aromatic oils and plant extracts) where the ingredients are tested and approved at CSIR labs(Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India) and each 100 ml of liquid vaporizer contains:
Cymbopogon citriatus(Lemon Grass Oil): 6 ml
Azardirachta indica(Neem extract): 6 ml
Eucalyptus globulus(Blue Gum tree extract containing eucalyptus oil): 6 ml
Excipients /Water: Q.S.
The product is labelled as an ayurvedic proprietary medicine. It is compatible with any standard vaporizer machine. It is safe to use around children and is really effective at keeping mosquitos at bay.
Con - The scent of eucalyptus and lemon grass oil is a bit over-powering and may exacerbate the condition of people who suffer from migraines.
