I have a Morphy Richards Icon essentials mixer grinder. Its been exactly one year since I have bought it. and in this one year, I have already got it repaired three times. after every few days, its smallest jar breaks down. I do not grind any hard spices in it. its always been onion tomatoes and chillies, that's it. I guess there is some quality issue with the jar.
The technician who came to repair it, changed the 4-winged plastic thing under the jar but it seems old and might break down in a few days again(because that is what has been happening).
One buys good brand's quality product so that one is tension free and can work easily. but what is the use of spending extra money if the product is giving me more troubles than ease? I could have have bought any local mixer grinder for 1/4th of the cost. Also, I might be a working lady or might have guests coming over or might have a kid or an elderly person to take care of or might be running a cooking business; a product breaking down so often is a big problem for me.
Right now, its under warranty so I am not having to pay but once the warranty expires and it keeps breaking down like this then I would not want to pay for it every now and then. what's the point of buying a branded product then if I am still having to pay every second month for its maintenance?
Waiting for your quick response from the company.
Thanks,
Prerna
