I hold 3 deposits with Morepen - one for 10,000 and other 2 for 12,000 each aggregating to 34,000.
All these matured a 2 years back, but there is no respose from the co. re repayment of FDRs. Like
me thousands of other deposits are suffering because of their wilful negligence. It is not that
they cannot pay depositors back, but they are deliberately withholding the public money even after
a negotiated settlement with CLB for refund in instalments. Thre authorities should wake up to
the woes of the public, especially middle class senior citizens who pput in their hard earned money
with morepen. Is there any way out to compel these people with a court order ? will someone
suggest a way out..
I had invested thinking they are good . However even after several reminders they havee failedto
respond. I have even approached them with documentary proof of our senior citizenship and
ailing health due to acute diabetic condition. I have to take insulin twice a day - morning and evening
and also a lot of tablets like sorbitol, envas, flexitol etc.
I want to organise the depositors forum to fight against this company so that they are compelled to
repay our hard earned deposit . They should not be allowed to get aay with our money they way
tjey have done. They have enough assets, and the direcotrs are jointly and severally liable to repay.
More so they have flagrantly viiolated the CLB order , and hence immediate action can be taken
against them.
