My review is specific to the More Megastore located in Kodigehalli near Sahakarnagar. The More Megastore is owned by the Aditya Birla groups. They also own the More supermarkets. Unlike the More supermarket which has the essential household items and groceries More Megastore has all items including groceries, electronics, toys, clothes, etc under one roof.
The Megastore located near Kodigehalli signal has ample parking space and security guards to guide you. This store has a ground floor and first floor.
The ground floor has all kinds of groceries, household items and a bakery. You get variety of vegetables including broccoli and lettuce. They have all kinds of sauces like pasta sauce, mustard sauce and salad dressing.They also sell loose rice and dals. I have never bought it so not sure about the quality. The bakery has veg and non-veg items and there is a small place where you can stand and eat. I had bought a strawberry cake piece for my daughter once but she did not enjoy it too much because it was too moist. Have got some snacks like aloo bite and veg puff and that was okay.
The first floor has clothes for kids, men and women. They also have electronic items like TV, fridge, washing machine, etc. Next space has toys and stationary items. Opposite to the toys you get utensils and things like mops, buckets and containers for the kitchen.
Coming to the quality of the items sold, I would say it is good when it comes to vegetables and all banded items. The quality of the clothes sold is not good. My husband bought a t-shirt for Rs.400 and the color faded in one wash. The rates for some of the items like clothes, toys and utensils are on the higher side. For the rates the quality does not seem to be that good. They offers and discounts like many other stores.
I usually come here to buy vegetables, biscuits, sauces and household stuff. You get a lot of variety here to choose from.
The staff seems to be well trained here. The billing is done pretty fast.
