I came across this service when I was looking online for a domestic help. I am in Dwarka, Delhi and they happen to have head office in Dwarka only. Good for me, bad for them. I will tell you later why.
When I contacted over phone they mentioned the advance fee of 10, 000. But they asked to pay 5000 first to initiate the process and 5000 later when we get the maid. Since I am very skeptical of advance payment to any unknown company, I visited their office along with my wife.
There we met Sahil, the sales guy.
He made promises of his excellent service and 100% money back guarantee.
He seemed like a nice guy. Without getting anything in writing we paid him 5000 using the QRcode shared by him(my mistake). All the promises he made verbally, we trusted that. We requested for "allrounder", which was suppose to do cooking as well as cleaning.
Immediately after that we started getting profiles which were having false information.(Their process was that first they will share the domestic help profile via URL, Once we like a profile, they will setup a conference call with that domestic help. If we like what we hear, we can hire her.)
I will give you examples:
Profile 1:
In a shared profile of Anita it was mentioned that she knew cooking & cleaning. However, during the conference call she mentioned that she had never cooked before!
Profile 2:
Another profile was of Sonam.
In that profile it was mentioned that she had 10 yrs of work experience. However. During the conference call. The lady, in question, mentioned that she had zero work experience.
Profile 3:
Finally we were sent a lady, Mamta, who we were told was of 38yrs age. We didn't have a conference call with her as we were promised that this time there was no issue! However, when she arrived we realized that she was 48yrs old. She was coming from Vikasnagar, not Uttamnagar as it was mentioned in her profile. This adds additional 5km to her commute! That makes her commute almost an hour one way. She was tired when she arrived and was asking for chair to sit.
Therefore, we were given not a single profile that had correct information.
However, Sahil was quick to ask for remaining amount even though we did not get a working help.
He kept pounding on whatsapp to pay the remaining 5000 even though we did not keep that help as her bio-data was inaccurate.
Sahil was very rude to deal with. He acted as if he did not care about providing the service, but just money. He used to hang up in the middle of the conversation if the conversation was not going his way or if he was not comfortable handling questions.
I visited their office after this thinking of giving a second chance as I really needed the service.
Again a wrong profile was shared.
Profile 4:
Sukvinder Kaur: She was 40 years old! I had clearly mentioned multiple times to them that I don't want a help older than 35 years. They apologized and shared another profile.
Profile 5:
Rohni, who was claimed to be an Allrounder with 4 years of experience. However, she did not have any cooking experience. When I asked about this, these crooks mentioned that she used to cook at her home! I could not believe what I was hearing. If working at your own home is called work experience then what I was knowing as work experience for so many years was absurd! What a joke. Anyone who cooks at her home in personal capacity cannot be counted as work experience.
I asked them about the receipt for the payment against 5000. They said that they don't provide any receipt unless someone asks for it. I had to follow multiple times before I could get the receipt. There was no GST number as they don't have any GST number(crooked company). I asked for guarantee in writing along with all the company policy and T&C. They again kept delaying and finally DID NOT provide anything. All their policies are verbal, which they can twist any way they want.
All of the above made us feel that we were not in safe hands, we were not dealing with right people/company. Therefore, we decided to get our money back. But then they started saying that it would be very difficult. When I asked the reason there was no explanation. I told them about 100% money back guarantee. But there was this senior sales guy called Shubham Thakur, who was good in talking but not interested in providing customer service. He asked me to send an email and company will revert. It's been more than 2 weeks. But I have got no response from them. Therefore, I filed a police case, filed a case in NCH(national consumer helpline and am going to file a case in district consumer forum. I need to teach these crooks a lesson.
