Developing Star. Review on Mohammed Kaif

Our Indian cricket team is perfectly balanced at this moment and I don’t agree with the people who ask for an extra bowlers. Our 4 bowlers are greatly bowling and some others like Yuvraj, Sachin, Shewag, and Ganguly can bowl well as the 5th bowlers. Experts say that selectors should remove Mohammad Kaif from the team, as team doesn’t need 7 batsmen. But I say every team does need them.

Some are also saying that Mohammad is just a hero of a day. He had just played in every match. But how can u expect a 7th no. batsman to hit a century when he is just getting just last 10 over. They hardly get 25-30 bowls from that last 10 over and we are expecting a century from that mere 25 balls every time he go to crease. That’s not the case. He is used as the pinch hitter at last 10 over and putting extra pressure for the opposition. If he is still there on the crease, there is tension for the captain of the opposition to get rid of him. And at times when opening 3-4 batsmen failed, he may be used well. For instance, on the Natwest final openers failed and he and Yuvraj did that job. He is there in the team for that purpose only.

In the statistics and eyes of some experts, he may be not good enough but for a team he is desperately needed. He is making the team perfectly balanced. He is one of the respected players in eyes of mine and I expect he is star of many other cricket fans like me.

This was just about the batting. But guys, he is just superb or incomparable on the field. He is just………………………. I don’t have word for that. His lightening reflexes are really pleasure to watch. He makes the Indian field live. He encouraged seniors too for diving and other fielding stuff. He is just cool to watch. Sometimes he encourages me and I dive on my sofa while he dives on the field. He had proven that many times in his short career till now and I guess he will do in future also.

One more asset he has is his running speed. My God, he is just a cheetah on the field as well as on crease. He is really capable of running that impossible run and he get success too. And bcoz of his running speed he is also able to save many runs on the field too.

He had also captained Indian under 19 team in the word cup of 1999. He had also performed well on the tournament. India was the only unbeaten side of that tournament and they brought the world cup too.

We don’t need for proof of his talent and capacities. Do we? He is great no matter what expert says. He is great and going to be great. And his fans respect him and will respect him in the future scope. He is developing star, which is going to bright soon, and he will brighten the whole universe with his glowing light.
