I bought this phone on 24 Dec 2015. On first look the phone seems elegant and cool. Though the external parts are made of plastic the design looks unique. The most important part is the sharp edges instead of round edges unlike other smart phones. However these sharp edges stick out, if you put the phone in your pant pockets when you go around. Therefore Xpress 4G lacks a bit on the side of ease of use.
The 8 MP camera shoots excellent pictures and also the quality of video is good enough. The front camera is good enough for selfi only in broad day light.
The 2 GB RAM gives good performance while using different apps. Even opening and running multiple apps in the background goes well due to 2 GB RAM. Playing of movies on this phone is smooth and clear with 5" capacitive screen.
Also the 16 GB internal storage proves to be of great boon while storing data, pictures & movies. However only 11 GB of the internal memory is actually available for the user.
As far as using Xpress 4G as a phone is concerned the sound quality is excellent. Even while listening to songs either on headphones, on speaker mode or while playing movies the sound quality is excellent.
The Xpress 4G is sturdy enough as it has survived at least 2 falls from about the height of 4 feet, also due to the tempered glass that comes free along with the mobile.
The most important part is the 2000 mAH Lithium Ion battery provided with the mobile falls short of performance to support the features provided with the phone. While on internet, the battery drains off in hardly an hour and half.
The performance of Xpress 4G is good while surfing & downloading chatting etc.
While watching movies the battery gives a backup of not more than 2 hours. Initially the battery took 2 hrs to charge. However after six months of use the battery started taking 3 hours. Now a days it takes upto 4 hours to charge fully.
Overall a good phone with excellent features and value for money. However the battery fails to keep up with the features of the phone.
