Schumacher driven to extremes
Well in the era of 1980s onwards we have seen some of the greatest people play some games, they have tried to emulate the best of the best till then….
A few who come to the mind are
tiger woods trying to emulate jack nicklaus
Maradona versus the great pele
Sachin against the the don himself Donald bradman
And so is Schumacher trying against fangio the greatest racer till date
Well in the past few years form 2000 to 2002 we have seen the domination of the
Scarlet red fever known as Ferrari and their driver Schumacher.
But this book represents the time between1996 to 1999 when schumi joined them
James allen has done a fine job telling us what is it at Ferrari ,schumi ,the way they work and more u would love to know
It represents the time when schumi had won back to back titles for the benetton team in 94 and 95
Then why did he join Ferrari in 96 a team which was in doldrums a team which hadn’t won a word title for 15 years
For the money no for the tradition of the prancing horse(logo of Ferrari)
This book finds out the working secrets of Ferrari over a period of two complete years in 98 and 99.
It also gives us insight of schumi the way his mind works when he is in the car
It gives us the minute details why he is the best.
And why the other drivers love to hate him .

this book makes u hate schumi for the controversy makes u stand up and applaud for the gutsy races he raced against the best cars
makes u love him in the end because of the way he is, his loyalty to the team, to the fans and still come year after year and sit in a inferior car and be the best
the last words as Irvine says in the book
“ to beat schumi in a better car is possible thats how Damon Hill ,Jacque and Mika did it
but in the same car he is miles ahead of any one of them….”
