I went to see this movie as I got tickets for a complimentary review and with apprehensions because I do not like violence of any kind whether in real life or in reel life. However one thing clearly stands out after seeing this movie is the difference that still exists in the making of movies in Hollywood and Bollywood. technically Hollywood is far ahead of Bollywood and the sheer technical excellence makes even a movie containing violence watchable.
The movie is action packed with some very well played out love making scenes which again stand apart for their quality. The main actors are Collin Farrell, Jamie Foxx and Gong Li. The movie is about Colombian Drug cartels and the efforts of undercover agents to penetrate the drug mafia. The theme probably is a standard theme. But the movie becomes watchable because of the sheer technical excellence with which it is made.
