No matter how much you handle it any gadget with care, it's going to be malfunctioning one way or around. And when you seek Mi service center to reach out for help is when you'll come to know about how awful is their service. My power bank wasn't dead i.e the batteries wouldn't have been affected and there might have been repairable issue with it. And even if not I should have at least provided with mental satisfaction. But when I visited the service center, even without me trying to claim for any warranty I was told my warranty is over ( by just less than one month) and there's literally nothing else that could be done with the power bank and I can simply buy a new from the store. When I asked to at least check the powerbank for any faults and repair it if it's possible I'm okay to pay for the charges my request was completely refused and I was asked to leave. I tried contacting through customer care number, and was told the same that the warranty is over which I already knew. And when I shared the service center experience she asked me if I could let her talk to service center attendant on my behalf. Although it resulted in nothing and she completely ignored all that and said our policy is policy and no matter what I do she'll be unable to accept my product for service or help me in any way. So here's what I concluded:
When I try to reach out for help about a faulty product I'll be told to buy a new one from mi store since there would be nothing someone could do about the faulty product.
Only warranty period is safe, So better watchout for scam companies and trash services.
