Once I came back home from work quite early and found my Mother laughing loudly while watching this show. That is quite a rare sight, considering most of the shows on tv except one or two are emotional drams. The episode I watched was full of revelations, the old lady, more like the chief of the clan finds out that her daughter lied to her. The daughter Sarla is the only villain in this show, more like a mild one, she isn't the hardcore kind. So the story is of Ria, the newly wed in Shanti Sadan, ruled by Shanti Devi. Shanti Devi is an old-school lady who is used to having things under her control. But with the arrival of a new daughter in law, she feels threatened. She doesn't want any modern thing happening in her house.
All the actors in the show are splendid and doing a great job. The writers and directors too deserve a pat on their back for showing tearless drama.
While there are murders, kidnapping, betrayal happening on other shows this show still sticks to the plot that is a bit on the light-hearted side. Less tension/complication, funny moments and more things that will make you laugh.
The acting of the main actors Kruttika Desai Khan, Ekta Kaul and Ananya Khare is amazing and they make this show so much more fun to watch. A good, light-hearted evening show on television that is worth a watch.
