Men Not Allowed is a film that promised to venture into bold territory as far as Bollywood is concerned.Instead it ends up reinforcing the same stereotypes that have plagued the industry before. It is not a serious film on lesbianism nor does it have enough sleaze to cater to the front benchers. This film ,like others before it, propagates the idea that women become lesbians simply because they have been abused/ betrayed by men before.

This flick tells the story of Tanya (Payal Rohatgi) who is an executive with an AD agency. She has been betrayed by her boyfriend(Aryan Vaid) in the past. she is also unhappy with the womanising nature of her father. So, she embarks on a lesbian relationship with a model Urmila ( Tina Mazumdar). Urmila it turns out was abused by her uncle during her childhood. This relationship is not approved by Tanya's father and he enlists the help of a model Vikram ( Tarun Arora) to seduce the women and break up their relationship. I couldnt watch beyond that!!

The dialogues are corny, perforamnces by the cast are ordinary. The music is nothing special, there are no tracks that stand out. All in all, its another forgettable film in the kitty of Payal Rohatgi.
