I have been to Jodhpur many times.I have seen it changing with the change of time. What I like about the city, it has kept its age old feel intact despite influence of malls and technology.
The Mehrangarh fort is situated at height. The place has lots of open space around as well as its own parking, so parking is not an issue.
Like all forts in Rajasthan, there is essentially a temple, here it is of Mata ji( Durga Mata). The main entry resembles to the Amber fort Jaipur, but internal layout is not much identical.
This fort has some part dedicated to museum, I loved canons most among the equipment. The view from top is awesome.
You will be welcomed by folk artists, your group can dance with them, click pics with them, that means right from the moment you enter, you are in for enjoying marvelous Marwad!
