I would not recommend this travel agency if you are travelling to Shimla Manali. First of all, I have given them my own plan itinerary for booking in advance. They omitted the important place and they had planned itinerary which is cost effective to them and not what client will enjoy. Immediately I called sales team and informed that I want itinerary as per my choice, She informed me that this is a standard format and driver will cooperate you in your choice of places.
This is not the only reason why my trip was bad. I am writing below points where this travel agency lacks:
1. Very irresponsible support staff. They will not respond you once advance is paid.
2. They have tie ups with(third party) Cab/Car companies. They will leave you at Car company’s/Driver’s mercy once you reach destination. Car Company doesn’t know what is decided between you and MMH Sales Team.
3. They have charged me on average Rs. 4500.00 per day for Car(total 8 days). I was shocked, my 2nd day itinerary was made up of 30 kms per day i.e Rs. 150.00 per KM!, When I asked driver for second site seeing place nearby he asked me to pay Rs. 1500.00 extra. Driver was very reluctant but he was forced by Company to take extra money from me.
4. On one specific day I wish to take dinner outside, I called driver to pick us for dinner from our hotel. He asked for Rs. 2000.00 extra to go for dinner which was 4 kms from my hotel. I had booked car for whole trip and not for specific destination. I have to take private taxi from our Hotel who charged us Rs. 500.00 for dinner trip.
5. Almost daily we had one or another problem and tour organizer informed us to solve our problem with driver and not call them as they are helpless to solve our problem. Finally, She advised me to henceforth discuss and decide everything with driver and pay him directly without involving company.
6. On last day I was to return from New Delhi and my train was @ 22.10 pm. I had a luggage of 4 bags. My driver recommended me to start earlier from Kandaghat, anticipating very heavy traffic in between and at Delhi. On his advice, we had skipped breakfast and started very early. Contrary to idea we reached early by 15.00 pm at New Delhi. In my Itinerary, I had specifically mention I will be going for shopping in Local Delhi. As it was not possible to carry all luggage with us during shopping, I asked driver to leave us at a particular spot near by market and meet us at railway station at 20.30 pm. On instructions from some Mr Abhishek, he refused to do that and he unloaded us with luggage in scorching heat of Delhi in afternoon. When I asked driver to give me phone and let me talk to Mr Abhishek who was the senior most person, Mr Abhishek disconnected mobile instead of facing the conversation. I knew they only want to collect money online and are not capable of facing customer problems.
7. I met one of the Cab owner Shri Sanjeevji at Manali. He was very polite, but I could recognize it, he was not paid enough by MMH that he can serve customer.
In short, I will not recommend this travel agency at all. And never dare to pay them in advance.
