Greetings!
Well, this review is based on my favourite television show; I have been watching it for the past 3 years. (Believe me, there were hardly any repeated episodes and if there were I enjoyed them!)
Medical Detectives is a pioneer in the field of fact-based, high-tech, dramatic storytelling of the occurrences as well as crime scene investigation. This series of television programs delves into the world of forensic science, profiling intriguing crimes, accidents and outbreaks of disease from around the world (for instance we always considered e.coli bacteria to be safe).
Follow coroners, medical examiners, physicians, pathologists, criminologists, and law enforcement personnel, the press and legal experts as they seek solutions to puzzling (some weren’t solved for decades) cases whose riddles are ultimately solved by forensic detection.
Let me give you a brief example. A charred (rather like ash) body of a woman is found in a dustbin. There are no traces of human DNA – except (almost harmed) in the dentine of a tooth that was safe and evident enough to be scrutinized. The killer was hunted down – just through the missing records and a bit of DNA analysis.
This show is aired at 9:00 pm IST Wednesday on The Discovery Channel. Newer and newer episodes still continue to show up.
Well, go 2 go!
