What’s your say on chatpata food? Isn’t it the punch brings a whole lot-a difference in any dish [irrespective of whether it is half cook or over cooked : )]. Since my mother had left, I had to enter kitchen. Obviously I was looking for some help when some of my friends pointed at various spices available in market. I had tried some of the MTR products earlier and I am impressed with the overall concept.
So, one weekend dedicated time to pick up some of those ready spices. I had Tawa fry in the list [tasted at my friend’s place before]. Well, the packaging doesn’t seem much attractive – but gives a dull look. But then who is looking for the packaging. Tawa fry is used for stuffed vegetables too. Same day tried aaloo fry. Mmmmmm … it was just too good. For a moment I felt oh, is it me! The right mix of various ingredients like dry ginger, dry mango, pepper - add a totally different flavor to any vegetable.
Till now I have tried with aaloo, bhindi and baingan. Cut the vegetable, put on heated oil after wash. Cover for 4-5 mins. And then sprinkle Tawa Fry. Fry it for another 5 mins and fry is all set to be attacked with hot chapatti or paratha. But one needs to be careful with the quantity. Because of ingredients like dry ginger & dry mango – more spice will make the food item little too pungent. Once TF is added no need to add salt or turmeric powder.
I also had tried TF for making the aaloo masala for aaloo paratha. Boil the potato & smash it with TF and filler is ready to be used.Who says – size does matter! Such ‘make life easy’ magic comes in small packs call ‘MDH Tawa Fry’ … Bring TF and add the punch in cooking. The easy n Tasty way!
