The entry of Big Mac was timely in spite of serious troubles were faced by KFC and other US fast Food chains. Both selection of right time and back-up strategies for success in such business is a must, which is why McDonald?s has number of outlets and well entrenched in Metropolis like Mumbai, where all types of fast foods are available every nook and corner.
What essentially distinguishes McDonald?s from others is in their Joint locations--- all situated strategically near major Railways Stations, Shopping Malls and central to large market place, which ensures maximum footfalls. It has its own décor and layout of self service with seating arrangement that make environment comfortable for collegians, youngsters, middle aged etc . and mostly to nucleus families. Most of latter variety of visitors do frequent to keep their young ones happy with any outing----either for movie, shopping and even during week end escapes.
Interestingly, Big Mac?s fast food menu is tailored to tempt urban Indian palate with various offerings. Mac?s crisp and hot potato fingers with hamburger and a glass of coke find wide acceptance while other varieties are admired too. McDonald?s have done their homework well enough to ensure their fast foods have variety and to suit the tastes and pockets of all and sundry.
MacDonald?s has now been family joints for many young couples with kids during week ends. It is kids who have been motive force to make their parents often surrender to their persistence.
