Mosquitoes - One of the most irritating creature on this earth. The market seems to be flooded with bounty of repellents from coil to vaporizers from a variety of manufacturers from Mortein, All out, Good Knight, Tortoise, Balsara etc.
Is not it a difficult task to decide considering the possible health hazards in long term?
We were using All out Vaporizer. It was good in repelling the mosquitoes. But after some two months of use, I felt that it was affecting my health. I had some breathlessness in night time. I am not sure as it was only responsible, but I thought to implement a change.
The pleasant change was in the form of Maxo Military Mosquito `A` grade Shield.
What is this?
This is a white colour cream which needs to be applied at all over the would be affected area of your body. It has been combined developed by DRDO and Jyothi Laboratories over years of research.
Look, Feel and Smell
The 50g tube is nicely packed in Olive green Army fatigue colour. You can seen emblem of DRDO and Jyothi lab both. The opposite side of the tube has various other information like the customer care no, MRP,3 years of expiry date,Instruction to use, SAFE FOR ALL SKIN TYPE- CLINICALLY PROVEN Logo etc.
The Main thing
The application is easy just like applying any normal cream. It contains Aloe Vera too. The moment you complete your appication on hands legs etc, whole room fills with a very very pleasant smell unlike the same type of cream from Odomos which is not pleasing for me.
The effect is indeed praiseworthy.
The room gets a lot of mosquitoes in the evening time with combined music.But not a single mosquito dared to touch me.My daughter came close to me and remained in physical touch!!.Mosquitos did not touch her too!! That`s it`s effectiveness. After some one hour, mosquitoes seem to be vanished from that room itself.
We all use this cream in the evening. Though it claims protection for 8 hours in standard condition. But, I found it fully effective for little more than 5 hours. After that time mosquito Net only for full night!!.
The Side effect
Big NO. Have been using for last one month but no ill effect observed and NO Breathlessness for me in night. Though I need to apply little extra soap for removing it during bathing the next day.
Value for Money?
Full value. MRP is just Rs 36 for 50 big grams.No side effect with very pleasant smell.

A mosquito repellant cream with very pleasant smell and fully effective. Recommended for full family.
