Worst services ever experienced. They don't want to get compared with their competitors. After 5 years, my investment sums to 85k, my fund value is 70k. Their web site don't allow switching and their customer care don't take any request on call. Please please please don't prefer maxnewyork life. The agent will tell anything to sell the policy. I buyed one and made myself a fool.
Not allowing to switch the funds(online or on call) when required most and later saying that the issue was with them is not going to help me regain the losses incurred.
They even did disconnect the call made to their toll free number 1800 200 5577, I tried hundred times on this number and after a debate, they simply disconnect the call. I mailed the customer care for the reason on their product, attitude etc etc and they never turned back on last occasion. I beg you please do not buy any product from them. Drag them to customer court.

I've similar portfolio with ICICI Prudential and similar investment(monthly). but they take requests on phone too. My switch request was positively taken on phone by ICICI Pru. And after 3 years, I have my capital intact plus I am getting 12k extra(u may call it as interest). When I give this example, the managers at MaxNY dont like it, they ask me not to compare them with any other company. No professionalism at all.
