Here I got apportunity to show the Video of Matheran. This was my one day trek so I had not covered much points.I had spend Rs 30 [ Return Ticket ] for Reaching upto Neral Station which comes under Central Railway & Rs 100 to go on top of Matheran and return back by Taxi. Rest is depend on you as how much you spend for food and shopping and horses.At enterance I had not opted for Horse. Main Market / Railway station is approx 3 km from Enterance.
If you have luggage take some helper otherwise it will be difficult to walk for 3 Km.If you are going for one day and want to take rest , Near by railway station there is good garden where you can take rest [ Carry some Bedsheet or news paper ]. Try to Cover main points because for one day it will be very hactic to cover most of the points. Also do not carry Plastic bags or food in hand otherwise you are inviting moneys to welcome you ;-).While Shopping try to see same item in 2-3 shops and you will find rate difference. You will find everywhere RED SAND which you can see in Video also so wear shoes accordingly.Tenalirama
