Nature's Beauty. Review on Matheran

Matheran is just the kind of place one would like to visit on weekend.The journey is somewhat adventurous.

After reaching Neral station, you can go by Toy train which runs between Neral and Matheran station and it normally takes more then two hours, or one can even go hiking or by a motor vehicles . Its a unique experience travelling on toy train. One can get to see most of Matheran while traveling with Toy train.

There are number of beautiful points worth visiting, but if you like to visit all the points you should plan out your holiday for atleast 3 days.

The best points to visit are Sunset and Sunrise and also Echo point which is joy to visit because you come to know how good your voice sound when you shout. The Hart Point offers a view of the lights of Mumbai at night. Charlotte Lake is also worth visiting.

There are many more points which are worth visiting but I dont remember their names know, but I suggest that everyone should try it for weekend once.

The best thing about Matheran is that Vehicles of any kind are not permitted in the town, which makes it a very quiet, serene place, without any pollution. For accommodation there are many good private hotels in and around the main market and MTDC accommodation is also available.

But I would recommend everyone the private hotels.
