I saw the google reviews and went to these people for my Nikon DSLR camera zoom repair. Now I am assuming that all the people who have written good reviews there just had very minor issues with their camera like a battery/charger replacement or something, and got satisfactory service from them. The other possibility, of course, is that these good reviews are post by themselves, which I now know to be true. But trust me when I say this guys, these people are a bunch of dishonest thugs. Like any normal person, even I rely on reviews to avail a service, and I'm writing this personal experience with the hopes that somebody else doesn't lose their hard earned money like me.
They take up the camera for repair with an advance payment for checking, and then the next day will call and tell that a part is gone and needs replacement. You just have to take their word for it! In my case, due to a sudden jerk, my zoom thread was stuck and couldn't be rotated. They replaced the entire zoom, with god only knows what cheap product, because I can easily feel the difference now during rotation of the zoom ring. What's more, they charged me INR 3500/- for the sub-par product. But what really ticked me off was what happened next! I knew I was cheated when the guy refused to give me the old "broken" part! They just make up excuses that they have to send it back to Nikon, only after which they get a new replacement. I cant understand this logic. Broken or not, I have paid for the old part and it is mine. When I said the same, one Mr. Vijay got all defensive and their hostile reaction further confirmed the fact that these guys are just cheating us out of our money. I'm guessing they would have retained my good part and used it on somebody else's camera and charged him for a new part!
So friends, I would suggest you do not go to these people unless you know exactly what the problem is. Always better to go to any other authorized service center than regret later.
