(all here is about a petrol version, but in diesel version, ther is much more similarity wit petrol in performance is wat I heard from dieasel users)
Guys! I am really very glad to post a review about swift.. in that case you should have judged whats gonna be my rating fot this car... yes of course its really good choosing this car....so lets get on to my real story.. vrooooom. When I started my day of dreaming to buy a car, I thought of buying hyundai getz, so after serious discussion with my pals, I have chosen hyundai getz and maruti suzuki swift for test drive... as I am a hatch lover..
I started my test drive with swift first, oh god! what a car it is...it was designed so greatly that it make us realise that we are in a new real world when you get in to her boot... I really enjoyed to be seated in front...when I started my turn of driving, oh! no words of expressing, I thought, even a learner can drive it in ease, to that extent it was well engineered in promoting driving quality most of all its a driving pleasure...I should have note you about its transmission, it was mind blowing, it really turns to be sportier when you accelerate her hardly, when you hit around 5 or 6 in rpm, and when you change the gear, the gear shift sounds like sports car that you might have heard in fast and furious..
The accelration just sounds like it contains 2.0 L engine, allover thse things just makes me put on those words " its really sporty"... the power steering not impressed me a lot, its good but it doesnt suits for its acceleration gear shifting capability, its outdated even it was a power steering, because even my papa's old cielo is even better in affording a well ease control, that it can be turned even using ur two fingers but its not like that in swift.....
The acceleration is good overall... in city it behaves like it is more than enough in acceleration and in high ways it behaves like it can try its hard in affording you the most sportier drive.. in cities you most probably roll in minimum speed of 35km\hr and a maximum of 60km\hr in that consideration, this car takes you to the maximum speed in just shifting the gear, no need to accelerate a lot, it works like a newer active servant... but where it puts my head down is, this car suffers to accelerate in 2nd gear when you were in 15km\hr, gear knocking is heard and even engine is stopped...
So we must accelerate it in carefull when we were struck in a traffic... on hard acceleration, the car hits to 45 to 50km\hr in 1st gear itself, so the rest you can imagine, but not so quicker in third gear alone.. this car does well @2000rpm, so it means it is execellent in cities and marginally good in highways... when this beast gets to 80km\hr in 5th gear, the rpm will be @2000rpm and for your surprise just a tip of your toe in acceleration pedal is enough to keep in that speed and just a little more than a touch in the pedal will makes you say wow! on seeing the miracle "hurrah its 100km\hr" this turns to be sporty in that speed...top speed? I am not sure about it, but I heard it can do surely more than 160..
Mileage is comparatively good... it gives 13.5 in cities and around 16 to 17 in highways..In comfort section, swift compromise us in front row a lot..it just makes me feel like sitting in a sofa and wathing tv, its wordsless, you should seat in this car and see the awesome work of those engineers but its so bad that the rear seats are yak..they are really boring and person like expecting journey experience, it doesnt serves a lot to them, because the rear windows are small but not that is bad but the thing that makes me pis off is that, we cant see any thing through rear window when we rest our head in head rest... also the legroom was so bad in rear, its like swift, has got every thing in front with no consideration at the back....
About interiors? its awesome man, when you are rich enough to get a climatic control model, then its done, you own the car which is the best in interours in its class.. it very very genuine especially in climatic control model... because in lower model the adjustments for acs looks so cheap and outdated so when you want to compromise in comfort, luxury and also the look you should then go for a climatic control model...oh forgot to narrate, the ac was simply superb, it affords a pleasure to be in within a minute no matter how hot outside..Outer stylish? I no need to tell you about it, its obviuos its a hottest car in the road..More over I should say go for swift when you are to take a hatch..I conclude to make you all sure that these facts are true up to m knowledge and I wish you all to test drive it to know how for its true..
