Hi Friends,
I am planning to buy a new car and doing a lot of research on the models available at the time being.This is my experience with swift from Maruti suzuki.
The car only looks great when u see it on a picture but I lost that feeling when I saw it in real.The rear passengers will never get space if the front passenger moves the seat back 50%.I went to maruti ABT in chennai and this was the reply I got.
Pay 50000 and wait for 2.5 months.It may also get delayed.
Swift has old engine of esteem.
Mileage will be only 9 in city.
and then the sales person went away without even bothering to ask me about whether I want to go for a test drive.
I found out that I need to shell out Rs 5 per km if I buy this car.Whereas I now have an indica.
One more thing the car looks spacious only from outside.on entering u will really wonder where all that space went.
Nowadays we get all CRDE,CRDI and so many new technologies but I dont know y this maruti team gets to think bad about INDIA because this was not the engine from international swift.
Moreover the engine of esteem will now have to carry a heavier weight which reduces the mileage drastically.
Mileage is a very important factor nowadays with increasing fuel prices and we need cars with a balanced ratio of all.
When a large sizes scorpio gives 10km with ac the swift too gives the same.
Other than this the petrol is always refined and u will find it nice to drive with some added features only in the higher version.
The colours available are quite rich and pleasing to attract.
Only the Zxi higher model has a ground clearance of 180 mm for indian roads.
IT IS JUST AN ANOTHER CAR FROM MARUTI.
I WILL NEVER JUTIFY THE PRICE HIKE DONE BY MARUTI AND THEY WILL REGRET FOR THIS LATER.
