Purchased Maruti Ignis AGS in the month of Feb. It was all fine running till the first servicing was done. After that I have been facing problem with the AGS system. Finished with the 3rd free servicing by Sai Service Wagholi. The issue with AGS is there is a particular click sound which comes every time there is a gear shift happening. and the car struggles to shift gear specially when speeding to overtake, which becomes very dangerous.
Of course Sai Service could not solve the issue and have stated that its not an issue as they have compared it with other Ignis cars and they are all the same, so does that mean that it is a design or a manufacturing defect which Maruti Company overlooked.
Otherwise very happy with the car, but a bit apprehensive for long drives specially on highways because of the gear problems. City drive and specially in heavy traffic its very convenient .
