Sarjapur Manipal is one of the worst places I have visited. Recently I went for a routine health check. I called them a day before and confirmed it. Reached at 7:30 am & finished at 4 pm. The receptionist at the health check dept, and all her coordinators and helpers are there just for time pass and not work. They misguide you about timings, make you wait for hours together. After I went there and half way through the tests, she told me that consultation can be done only after 2 days when that report comes. I had confirmed with her the previous day and she didn't mention anything.
There were confused people everywhere as these guys misguided them about timings and other information. Whoever went and asked them anything they were ignoring everyone, and would start talking to each other in Bengali(Btw its a mini kolkota there, you will not understand anything, they will talk to themselves and ignore the patients and literally treat you like shit).
One guy was almost pleading and I quote "please at least inform us what is going on, you guys are not telling us anything and talking among yourselves". They told me that I have to wait for pap smear for 2hrs as only senior docs or nurses can do it. After waiting for 2 hrs the same receptionist and the other girl who was checking the vitals did the pap smear. No doctors no senior nurse no one. Just made us wait for 2 hrs while they were sitting there and chatting among themselves.
They asked me to come after 2 days again for the report, gave me an appointment. Ahen I reached, they said the co ordinator will take you. The coordinator(some boy) takes me away and says you have to wait as there are 7 patients before you. I told him I have come on time and the girl told me that I can consult now, how can you ask me to wait for so long as its a working day for me. He says "thats health check receptionist problem, not mine. I am the coordinator and you have to wait".
I went back to her and she comes with me, again starts talking to each other in their mother tongue, doesn't tell me anything and after 3 patients lets me in. In every consultation, the first question is are you here for checkup. If you say yes, then you are of no importance.
The dentist was the most unprofessional I have seen in my life. He didn't take even 2 seconds to check and said you are done. The same thing happened to others and they were complaining too. His attitude and behavior was the worst. Even a clerk would have a good body language and would talk with respect. But this so called qualified doctor didn't have that decency.
Even the gynac wasn't ready to listen to any questions. Even before I would start asking anything she was in a hurry and kept saying everything is fine. Only the GP and the Ophthalmologist took some time to read reports and do tests and behave like a doctor. It's a shame that you guys have such worst staffs who just make our life miserable for the mistake we did by choosing your hospital.
I have visited Whitefield center in the past and I didn't experience this. You guys charge so much for a routine checkup and don't care about anything. There was an old man(almost70-80yrs) who came alone. They were giving him wrong information all the time, making him walk around so much, made him wait for almost 4 hrs and that insensitive rude and ridiculous receptionist(Agrajitha something)tells him you come tomorrow, we cannot do your tests and reports now.
Overall the worst experience and I would warn everyone never to choose this place for checkup or anything. All they care about is taking money first and not giving a damn about anything.
It's a shame that you all are in this field and lack basic humanity. Shame on you guys!
