Spent entire morning (2hrs +) creating cart of about 2, 000 INR worth items. The site loading time was quite slow so it was painful to say the least having to compile all the items in checkout basket. Finally comes the time to place order. After some hiccups and failed tries, I finally managed to reach "confirm order" page. All along it showed "COD available" on the right side bar, but when I clicked confirm order, I was directed straight to the payment gateway of bank. There was no option for COD, only prepaid.
Now obviously, I'm not going to pay prepaid as this was my first time trying to place an order on Mangoshoppers. Better safe than sorry! So I tried calling the "contact us" number from top of the site page. I was amazed but somehow not surprised that no one actually picked the call, the phone kept ringing and finally disconnected. I also tried all other contact numbers given, the one on contact us page, on for sainik farms outlet etc but no response on any of them. Still feel confident about prepaying?
I seriously have no idea if this site is even functional or not. Lately a lot of online shops are budding like mushrooms in Delhi NCR, but few are genuine so I can only advise users to check before buying if a site is genuine and avoid prepaid at all costs at least for the first order.
