Dear life span of pressure cooker is unlimited if used correctly , It will keep on feeding good nutrious food as long as you wish . think at the end when it losts its efficiency what to do with this , there is no taker of this pot.
If any of the MS member can guide the other where to use it other than throwing in garbage .
For few months it can be repaired by some local mechanics in case of deformity in shape later it is a just another bad pot in home.
Places near handel can not be cleaned very nicely, looks shaby , and unhealthy in the day to day life. For some old models of cooker it is difficult to get spares also.
Aluminium used in manufacturing must be of sufficient better quality so that it can not be de-shaped on normal working life
