Mahabalipuram is one of the ancient city of the South India. It has a history of a city lost under the water. Taking from the note of what the religion said about the King Bahubali of Ashura family and the kind of cheating done by the Lord Bishnu disguising him by becoming Baman is the history of Mahabalipuram.
Apart from its religious importance, this is one of the good place to visit. The beach is good. Nice surrounding and the art of the area would certainly make you feel good about the city. I am in plan to visit it again and would like to take few people with me.
