I trusted magicbricks and invested 85, 000 rupees on 31st May 2019 to get good quality leads. It had itarget campaign with product title "iTarget(Eco Suite) Locality Level - Navi Mumbai - 20 Days(Est. Imp-1.65 Lac) and a few listings packages.
The ticket size of our project was 42 lakhs for 1 BHK in an under-construction project at Navi Mumbai. When the campaign started, all the leads we got had a requirement of 1 BHK with a budget of just 25 lakhs that too in ready possession. Upon research, we got to know that some other project in another location with the same name was tagged with our project. The images of the other project were shown which was ready possession and had a ticket size of 25 lakhs. This confused and hence we got zero walk-ins. Upon multiple complaints to magicbricks, the campaign was stopped. We missed all our sales targets and lost the project due to this. Magicbricks employees Arjun Mishra and Satyam Singh from Thane branch promised that they will restart my campaign and provide compensation.
I fixed a meeting on 12th September to discuss restarting the campaign and also the compensation for the issue. I said to restart my itarget campaign with 3.2 lakh impressions of another project in Mumbai suburbs. Arjun and Satyam said they can't promise the number of impressions but will try their level best. They took more than a month to revert to the final number of impressions they are providing. Magicbricks team made various reasons for this delay, of which, the primary one was, they had started a dashboard section of itarget where the campaign report with impressions is shown which was the reason for the delay. Finally, they said they can provide only 2.5 lakhs impressions which I asked them to go ahead with.
After continuous follow-up messages and calls, the campaign finally started on 22nd October. However, this time, there was no microsite listing, only small banners were visible on their site with the project name, location, and pricing. Upon clicking, a small inquiry box opens. In the previous itarget, there was a separate microsite listing with all the project information. I waited for a few days but we were getting only 3-4 irrelevant leads. I called Arjun and said this is not acceptable, you have not started my itarget campaign, this is just a banner ad. He said it is itarget and the impressions will be shown on a dashboard within a few days. We waited for 2 weeks still the leads were all irrelevant and the dashboard wasn't updated with the impressions. There are many other points based on which we can say they did not even provide us the itarget campaign. Till date, we have received only 45 leads for this campaign which was expected to have 2.5 lakh impressions.
I asked for a full refund on 31st October. There has been no reply to date. Only fake promises by their employees that they have forwarded the request. Even after multiple follow up emails, I am not getting any response on my refund.
