This film had potential. It might have reviewed a disgraceful need. There have been not many undeniable movies on Dalit characters, where the Dalit plays the lead in a reasonable, unambiguous way. which got such awful press when the film's exposure revealed half a month back, goes ahead for a glimmer, gone forever: each one of those militating against spreading generalizations can relax. Chadha is in each casing, and offers some winsome minutes with Shukla, yet unfortunately, 'Madam Chief Minister' winds up being carefully acceptable.
