The Inverter developed problems within a couple of months of use. Though the product information mentions 4-6 hours of backup, . within 2 hours, the UPS would just shut down after making loud beeps, and wild whirring noises.
And when you call the LUMINOUS technician, you're expected to pay for his visit, though he will insist that during the warranty any service is free. So, technically this amounts to cheating the customers, because for all problems, the technician will find a way to claim that they're not covered under'free service'.
And then there's a dealer problem. Bangalore has the most lax and incompetent customer service, as it is.
Especially avoid this one shop on Lal Bagh Road, who go by the name NATHURAM & SONS. Terrible attitude and very poor customer service! Nasty guys to deal with.
