Plot: Vikram, comes to Mumbai to pursue his Bollywood dreams. He stay over at his friend's place who has managed to carve out a small place for himself in the industry. Sona is also acts as extras in the movies and manages to keep herself afloat by doing favors to a director/producer. Vikram notices that she stays in his neighbourhood and soon two get along well with each other. Also, too much cosying up leads them to get romantically involved. Sona uses her contacts to push him forward in the industry. And, thats when he gets noticed by Minty and Rommy. So, he is signed for a movie opposite Nikki, which is directed by Ranjit. Zafar is a superstar already but disapproves of Ranjit. Neena, Nikki's mother keeps a continuous tab on Nikki's performances, finances and everything. She notices the growing proximity between Nikki and Vikram. She warns them of the irreparrable damage they might cause to their starry images.

Sona, accidently discovers that Vikram has developed newer crush for Nikki and sulks out of his life. However, she leaks it to a media friend about Vikram's affair. And, Neena's horror turns true. Vikram find faults with Sona for all these mishappenings and media leaks. And Sona throws him out of her life.

However, the movie becomes a hit and Vikram reaches a new stardom. He recieves a word of caution from the SRK himself. Thus, creeps a self realization and he reaches out to Sona. meanwhile, Sona has also developed a fan base for herself so she ditches Vikram. In the end, both go separate ways.

Recommendation: NO You can watch Indian Idol instead. I said no naa... Ab is pagle ko kaun samjhaaye? Jo dhoondh rahaa is bagiyan mein..Arey bhaago re bhaago re bhaago rey! Songs are also not audible! Horrible movie!

Moral and Morale: Too many cooks spoilt the broth. Thats it.. Morale is Dia Mirza and Isha Sherwani.. She looks alike Minisha Laamba!Don't watch it for star cast, don't watch it for anything.. Zoya's story is beyond comprehension.. Please Zoya decipher the meaning of title - Luck by chance?

As if someone is listening: I keep asking people, tell me the name of one movie in which Aamir and Shahrukh were there. they all look blank faced. So, I pour in more clues, Abhishek, John Abraham, Hritik and Ranbir Kapoor are also there.. So they really become excited to know the name of the movie. Thats when I pour water on them and tell them don't watch it.. Its was bad Luck by Chance.. So many top actors but movie plot always kept looking for NADIR.. Ab yeh NADIR shhaa kalaa hai kaunnn?
