First thing is the photography; you might not have seen this kind of photography in Indian films. While watching the movie it seems that you are watching an MMS. Whole of the movie is shot as an MMS Style, blurry images; shaking photos are full of experiments.
Now come up with the story. Do you remember DDLJ? First part of the movie is another DDLJ, but different. Instead of Raj and simran, here there are Rahul and Shruti. In DDLJ Raj says simran, I will not marry you without consent of your father. In LSD Rahul after marrying and suhagrat in a hotel says to shruti- now we are married aab tera baap kya ghanta ukhad lega. Unlike Ambrish puri the Baap in LSD does not say-simran nobody can make you more happy then this boy, he cut the throat of couple and chopped them in pieces. The most violent murder scene of this year.
Story no two, the boy is in huge debt, to make instant money, he has to woo the girl, then make an explicit MMS of the girl by a secret camera. There are enough reality-starved people interested in buying those images. Story No 3 a sting photographer is without money and failed to repetitive suicide attempts met a girl who too has done several failed suicide attempts. Now the both the photographer and the girl has one common objective, to make a string operation of local pop star.
All these three stories will keep you engaged for two and half hours. There is no suspense, no drama, and no naach ganna, only reality TV . Most of the actors are from stage, and performances are superb.
And Director Dibakar bannergee- Aur bhi gam hain jamane mein sting ke siva. Dialogues are witty and funny also in someplaces.
