Just last week i got a bpl mobile prepaid card on some utsav offer...it gave me 3 yr incoming free with some attractive call rates...but i soon realised attractive fares are no match for a pathetic service.
To start with, prepaid customers can not avail gprs ! Its simply not available for them. The network is pathetic pathetic pathetic..none of my calls have stayed connected for over 4 minutes. Calls get disconnected almost every two minutes.Voice clarity is dumps !!! Crackling sound. Echo and voice cuts are a regular feature. You will have to repeat each sentence twice before your message gets through. Customer care is hard to connect and even if by fluke you get connected to an operator...its of no use...the cust serv executives are in a tearing hurry to disconnect your call !
Being with airtel for over two years. I can say airtel is much much better in all aspects as compared to bpl. Network and voice clarity in airtel (mumbai) is unmatched.
