HI ALL,
BPl Mobile came into existence when the cell phone first came in india in 1995.
They were launched with a bang with huge advertisements all over....
Because Cell phone was a whole new concept in india at that time BPl had a chance to come into the market very much as they didnt had much competition,though Orange was there in its competition but they were not so popular because BPL caught people'attention with their advertisements,
Now the billing rates are very low compared to when the cell phones first came in 1995...at that time in bombay only rich people could afford to have cell phones because the cell phone rates were also very high...
So BPL thought to capture the market and make a good business before the people come to know the truth of their fraud billing system...
I'll tell you the experience I had with these guys...
Like many other I also took their service because of their advertisements although Orange was much better.
Their network was a lill better than Orange as their network would be connected in remote places outside the suburbs also ...that is the reason why I think I took their service...
But to my disappointment I was having the billing problem from the very first month.
To my knowledge I hadnt used much but when I saw the bill it was unexpectedly high...i was stunned coz I never expected it to be so high...
I went to their billing centre and had a big argument over the bill I had been given...but that didnt prove any better for me because those arrogant people were not ready to accept anything against them and said that it was perfect...
So with much disappointment I had to pay the bill but from very that day I left their service and took orange service,which was very comfortable for me as they used to consider even I was late for the payment of bills which was not the case in BPL...
This was not the case only with me but with my friends and people I knew had taken BPl service,they all had the same story to tell about these guys...
But now I have heard that they are better than before because of the fear of losing customers...but for me I will not ever again make a mistake I made before...
So guys beware of them and try to save your hard earned money from these Fraud guys...
Well at last i'd say and wish that they improve their billing if they wish to stay in the market because as of noW orange has come up in the market very fast with good services.
