The Logitech MK220 Wireless Keyboard is the first wireless keyboard that I bought. And it works great! I've been using it for over two months now and so far everything is going pretty smooth.

The keyboard model name is K220 and the M in MK220 stands for the M150 mouse that was included in the combo I bought, but I'll talk about the keyboard first.

I had bought it basically for casual gaming purposes, to prevent my laptop keys from getting damaged by excessive tapping during gameplay.

But this keyboard turned out to offer more than that.

The outstanding features of the Logitech MK220( K220) are:

1) It's a battery operated wireless keyboard with two AAA batteries( battery life- 24 months) provided with it. The keyboard, its batteries and a USB connector/receiver come in the same pack.

2) It is about 36 percent smaller than other standard keyboards, so it's small and portable, can be easily packed.

3) It is very lightweight and easy to handle.

4) Two adjustable attachments( or'tilt- legs') are there at the back of the keyboard and by adjusting them you could elevate the keyboard slightly high if you want.

5) The keys are durable and are fitted close together with the'Enter', 'Shift', and'Backspace' keys getting shortened in the bargain.

6) The typing experience is very smooth, the keys hardly make a sound while typing.

7) The key no. 4 has got an Indian Rupee symbol along with the dollar symbol. To get the drivers, go to the Microsoft link given on the packing box.

8) It comes with 2.4 GHz. Logitech Advanced Wireless Connectivity and can be used in the busiest of environments.

9) The maximum range of the wireless connection is approximately 10 metres which is more than enough for any user.

10) It has 128-bit AES encryption which means you can use it without the tension of your information or passwords getting stolen. The initialism AES stands for Advanced Encryption Standard which is a cipher block chosen by the U.S. and implemented in hardware and software across the world for better security and encryption of sensitive and/or classified data.

11) Most importantly, a USB connector or receiver shaped like a pen drive comes with it. Just attach it to one of the USB ports in your laptop/PC and fit the batteries in the keyboard and you are good to go. Don't lose the connector because without it, the keyboard is useless.

12) Despite the small size of the keyboard, all standard keyboard keys are present.

13) I had bought it for gaming but now I find myself typing with it too as the keyboard keys offer a great typing experience with the compact interface adding to its advantage.

14) It comes with a 3 years limited hardware warranty.

15) The keyboard design is spill-resistant but I would suggest that you cover it with a thin transparent plastic film. That way, it will have added protection against household dust and liquid spills. That's just the guy quite fussy about electronics talking. Yes, that's me!

16) It is fully compatible with Windows 10, Win 8, Win 7, Win Vista and Win XP. It is also compatible with Chrome OS and Linux Kernel 2.6+ .

17) You do not need to install any software to use this keyboard. It comes with a Plug-and-play USB connection. Just plug the connector in the USB port, place the 2 AAA batteries safely in the socket on the leftmost side of the keyboard and start using it.

18) There is no on/off switch in the MK220 unlike some other Logitech models.

It is a superbly crafted product from Logitech and it's expected as they are world renowned for peripherals like keyboards and mice.

Sleek, stylish, sturdy, portable and light. Totally user-friendly.

It is definitely a value-for-money product as I got it for around 1K. Market price range is 1K to 1.5 K. If you're thinking of buying a durable budget wireless keyboard, go for ones from Logitech.
